Sophie Turner admits, Game Of Thrones was the best sex education course possible

Sophie Turner was only twelve years old when she passed the casting to play in Game of Thrones. Fifteen years when she started shooting. And when you see the trajectory of his character throughout the seasons of the series, one wonders if some scenes were not too extreme for her. And according to the main interested party, this is not the case. The 21-year-old actress told The Sunday Times that Game of Thrones had simply "contributed to her sex education".

She explains:

"The first time I heard about oral sex was when I read a script. I said to myself, 'Wow, do people do that?' It's fascinating. "I imagine being in Game of Thrones helped my sex education."

Her rape scene disturbs

Nevertheless, when the journalist asked her if it had not been too shocking to turn, at 18 years, a rape scene with her "husband" in the series, Ramsay Bolton, Sophie Turner wants to be clear: "The more we let's talk about rape, the better. And no matter who says that it does not have a place on television and hell people who say they're going to boycott the show because of it. These kinds of things have happened in the past and continue to happen and if the subject is approached as a taboo, then how will the victims find the strength to say it happened to them? ".
It is true that many fans of the show realized from the writings of George R. Martin had found little legitimate to broadcast such scenes, especially with a young actress.
